The City is looking for an experienced Asset Integrity Engineer to join our team. This is a key role in the management and reduction of site structural integrity risk. You will represent the City for external projects that impact the City’s infrastructure. This position will work with stakeholders to ensure that the assets are designed and constructed in accordance with standards, specifications, and best industry practices. 

Your focus will be:

  • Developing and improving asset protection and reinstatement guidelines and ensuring these are communicated to external organisations prior to them engaging project work that affect the City’s assets.
  • Providing technical review comments to relevant development applications, building and obstruction permits to ensure risk to the City is minimized and compliance is achieved where possible.
  • Attending site meetings with external organisations or their contractors as required to resolve issues and minimize impact to the City’s infrastructure and operations.
  • Assisting with the review of handover documentation to ensure the quality of the information is in line with City of Perth requirements.
