The Role
Reporting to the Senior Procurement and Contracting Advisor, this role supports the Procurement team in delivering best practice procurement by ensuring all current policies, procedures and systems are current and compliant while providing high quality support and advice to relevant officers on the Town’s procurement practices.
You will be joining the team at an exciting time as the Town embarks on a culture of change with embracing of a wide range of new technologies, a large capitals works program, and a number of other projects that make the Town a desirable place to live and work.

The Town of Port Hedland is a local government area in the Pilbara region of Western Australia containing the twin settlements of Port Hedland and South Hedland and the industrial precinct of Wedgefield. It had a population of approximately 14,500 as at the 2016 Census of which only a few hundred live outside the settlement boundaries.
