About the Opportunity

Based at the Dalby Library, you will be responsible for delivering Library services and public programs. 

Reporting to the Library Delivery Supervisor, you will:

• provide a quality library service, including reader advisory, circulation & support for digital literacy;
• engage with a wide variety of community groups and individuals to establish networks and deliver public programs through Libraries and the Communities Department; and
• provide a timely, effective and accurate level of service including financial records, documentation, record-keeping, transactions and reporting. 

About yourself

The successful applicant will have:

• a high level of digital literacy with an appetite for early adoption and application of emerging technology trends;
• experience with customer service and meeting deadlines;
• experience with accurate cash handling, receipting and reporting; and
• a Working with Children Blue Card or be able to obtain one.

It is strongly recommended that applicants are fully vaccinated (received 2 doses of a COVID-19 vaccine recognised by the Therapeutic Goods Administration or as determined by Queensland Health (Public Health Direction)). You agree that you will comply with Council's COVID-19 Vaccination - Organisational Policy
