About the Opportunity

Based in Dalby, you will be responsible for providing a full range of planning and development administration support including coordinating the preparation, presentation and delivery of development applications and to assist with the efficient and effective performance of the Planning and Development Team and its operations.

Reporting to the Planning Administration Supervisor, you will:

  • assist with the compilation of Council reports;
  • co-ordinate the preparation, presentation and delivery of development applications;
  • co-ordinate the process of development applications; and
  • provide technical support to the Planning and Development Team on web-based information, internet presentations and Council’s database systems. 

About yourself

The successful applicant will have:

  • well-developed customer service skills;
  • a high level of computer literacy and ability to learn new systems and processes as required; and
  • a sound knowledge of the internet and web-based programs.

Applicants must be fully vaccinated (received 2 doses of a COVID-19 vaccine recognised by the Therapeutic Goods Administration or as determined by Queensland Health (Public Health Direction)), or be able to provide evidence of any contraindication in accordance with the Public Health Direction, or be willing to be fully vaccinated before commencement.
