About the role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and well-organised Meeting & Administration Officer to join the Governance & Risk team at Woollahra Council on a permanent full-time basis.
As the Meeting & Administration Officer, you will play a vital role in supporting the effective and efficient running of various meetings held by Council including the Council, Committee and other panel meetings and provide support to the Manager through a range of administrative duties.
A key aspect of this role will include the taking and recording of live meeting minutes for the purpose of recording decisions which may occur outside normal business hours. At present, Council and Committee meetings are held on Monday evenings. In recognition of this requirement, you will be paid an additional Deed allowance of $9,824.00 per annum.
About you
To be successful in this position, you will have proven experience in taking detailed minutes at Council/Committee level meetings and possess a high level of attention to detail. Additionally, you will demonstrate a high level of flexibility and the ability to work varied hours based on business requirements and be able to demonstrate excellent administrative skills.
