Secondary Teacher in English & Humanities - Wavell State High School

An exciting opportunity exist at Wavell State High School for a temporary full-time teachers to join our English and Humanities teams for Semester 2. The ideal applicants are motivated and engaging teachers capable of delivering the Australian Curriculum in English (years 11- 12) with humanities experience.

Wavell State High School is situated between Wavell Heights, Kedron and Chermside in a residential environment. The school is seven kilometres from the Brisbane central business district.

• Current full registration or current provisional registration with eligibility for full registration, as a teacher in Queensland. • Employment for pre-service/graduate teachers will be subject to the successful completion of a relevant teaching qualification and meeting the minimum requirements as a teacher with the department.

Workers in education settings, including schools, early childhood and care services (such as kindergartens and childcare centres) or Outside School Hours Care, will need to have received one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine by 17 December 2021, and the second dose by 11:59pm on 23 January 2022.
