The Skills, Safety & Support team is looking for a highly motivated, committed, and organised individual to join our busy team. The team is responsible for delivering a range of projects and tasks to address the needs strategic needs of Access Canberra. The Recruitment Officer role will be responsible for implementing several recruitment programs including bulk recruitment and a temporary register. The role involves coordinating and communicating with stakeholders to ensure completion of recruitment and onboarding related documentation for new staff to our Agency. It also involves developing and maintaining meaningful relationships with both internal and external stakeholders and using liaison skills to negotiate positive outcomes.

You will be responsible for reporting on recruitment outcomes, responding to enquiries and providing advice on recruitment matters.

Notes: This is a temporary position available immediately for up to 12 months with the possibility of permanency. A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and may be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months. This position will be working in workplace designed for activity-based working (ABW). Under ABW arrangements, officers will not have a designated workstation/desk.
