The primary function of this role is to coordinate the City’s Geographic Information System (GIS). With advanced experience in administering a GIS system, coupled with your analytical and problem solving skills, you will ensure that the GIS function continues to follow the City’s ICT pillars of standardising, simplifying and improving. You are a diligent, well organised person with an eye for detail. As well as continually keeping your GIS knowledge current, you are motivated and possess the ability to build strong business relationships with relevant stakeholders.
To be the successful candidate, you must possess a tertiary qualification in GIS or relevant experience in this field.
