Job Description

An exciting opportunity for a fixed-term temporary Principal has become available at Grovely State School, commencing as soon as practicable. As the Principal of Grovely State School, you will play a vital role in delivering the vision of the department. The leadership role of Principal is critical to improving the educational outcomes of students in their schools. The Principal has a major influence on developing the quality of teaching and learning and nurturing positive relationships between students, teachers and stakeholders.

About the School

At Grovely, we offer a caring, family oriented, small school environment where all students can participate and actively engage in all facets of school life.  In 2009 our school introduced a Montessori learning program into our school. Grovely State School is the first primary school in Queensland to take this step. The inclusion of this program complements the quality mainstream program and offers greater choice of educational provision to families in our locality. A mandatory requirement of this role is:
