The role

This position sits within the Water Operations department of the Infrastructure & Engineering Services Division and is responsible for undertaking both on the job practical training and a prescribed TAFE course of study in Electrotechnology - Electrician Certificate III (UEE30820)

The person

Our Apprentices represent individuals who are committed to their trade. They are focused on developing key technical skills needed to themselves be a trade expert.

The package: You will be paid in accordance with the Apprenticeship pay scale as outlined in the Local Government (State) Award 2020 plus superannuation.

Location: Upon commencement your normal place of work will be the MidCoast Council Depots located at Taree and Tuncurry. You may also be required to be based from other Council sites across the MidCoast Council region.

Tenure: Full Time ( 4 year Fixed Term )
