Salary Range $63,378 - $68,284 (Incl Industry Allowance) + super

Are you a qualified mechanic with heavy diesel equipment experience looking for a new challenge in an organisation that offers stability, job security and flexibility?

There is an exciting opportunity for a Mechanic to join the City’s mechanical workshop, which is responsible for the repairs and maintenance of the City’s plant, fleet and equipment.

To be successful in this role you will have knowledge, skills and experience in relevant trade practices and technology in the repair and maintenance of a large and varied fleet. You will provide a consistently high quality standard of automotive repairs and maintenance and have demonstrated ability to diagnose and identify faults of a complex or technical nature with solutions. 

The successful applicant will have sound communication skills, the ability to plan, organise and manage time and the willingness and ability to work as a cooperative and effective team member.

If you have a trade mechanic certificate, extensive experience in heavy diesel equipment and knowledge of welding procedures and practices, we welcome your application.
