Reporting to the Supervisor CDS, this position will support the City by:

  • Operating customer contact points and proactively assisting customers with container drop off
  • Planning and scheduling CDS collection runs
  • Providing accurate advice and direction to customers and members of the public visiting the Container Deposit sites including responding to complaints and queries
  • Ensuring customers comply with the work site safety requirements

This role supports the day-to-day operations of the City’s refund points ensuring eligible containers are collected, received, processed and disposed of safely and efficiently.

Our CDS facility is located on Aberdeen Street in Northbridge. To be successful, you will need to be confident driving a small truck in a built-up city environment.

To be eligible for this position you will need an MR Class Drivers Licence and you must be able to work a roster across seven days a week including day and afternoon shifts. The earliest shift would start at 7.00am and the latest shift end time is 4.00pm.
