City Projects Office (CPO) delivers Council’s projects and programs through effective project ownership, management, planning and design. Working in partnership with areas across Council and industry, CPO provide world-class infrastructure that enhances Brisbane’s lifestyle for its residents.
The Planning and Design's team have over 200 professionals who have extensive experience and a demonstrated record of excellence in the design and documentation of civil and civic infrastructure projects. As a consultancy branch within City Projects Office, the team is committed to delivering design and planning outcomes that balance environmental considerations with community-friendly infrastructure.
Planning and Design have worked with a range of Council program areas to contribute to several significant Council projects, including Road programs, Bikeway programs, suburban library refurbishments, landfill remediation and sports field development, and flood damage assessment and redesign.
The Senior Engineering Geologist is responsible for providing technical engineering geology advice to engineering staff together with the provision of detailed engineering rock core logs to be included within the engineering reports.
