An exciting opportunity has become available for the role of Project Manager for Cycling Brisbane within the Travel Behaviour Change team in Transport, Planning and Operations. The position is responsible for leading the delivery of Council’s Cycling Brisbane program which aims to make it easier for everyone to choose to ride a bike in this city and to create positive awareness of Council’s bike related infrastructure. It plays a critical role in engaging with internal and external stakeholders to ensure positive relationships with cycling groups and sponsorships/contracts are developed and maintained.

In this role, you will lead the Cycling Brisbane team by providing guidance and direction to ensure the achievement of key performance indicators in line with Council’s project management methodology and guidelines.

To be successful in this role you will:

• manage the implementation and delivery of the Cycling Brisbane Program to encourage people to ride more and create positive awareness of Council’s bike related infrastructure.
• have strong customer service and engagement experience with internal and external stakeholders.
• maintain and utilise strong partnership relationships, networks and alliances with relevant stakeholders and interest groups to achieve organisational outcomes.
• have demonstrated project management experience in successful delivery of medium level projects to agreed timeframes, budget and standards.
• have experience in contract management, project reporting and budget forecasting.
