ABOUT THE POSITION
The Shire is currently seeking two experienced and motivated Project Officers to join our Civil Project team, one located in Tom Price and the other in Onslow. Reporting to the Manager Roads and Civil Projects, the Project Officer is responsible for owning all aspects for a portfolio of infrastructure projects including formulating scopes and tender documents, budgeting, project management, contractor management as well as all associated administrative tasks.
Our ideal candidate will have relevant qualifications and experience and a proven ability to deliver timely project outcomes, to be successful in this role, you will have strong experience and understanding of contract administration. Regular travel between Shire towns and rural locations is a requirement of this role. Candidates are asked to identify their preference for location on their application, if applicable.
This position offers a competitive remuneration package including annual Ashburton Allowance, superannuation matching scheme and six (6) weeks’ annual leave. All other terms and conditions are as per the Shire of Ashburton Enterprise Agreement 2017.
