About the Opportunity
The Early Childhood Teacher is responsible for the education and nurturing of children in Council's education and care centres. The successful applicant will be responsible for the planning and implementation of the daily program, in line with NQF, including children's journals and developmental records.

Salary: Employment is in accordance with the NSW Local Government (State) Award. This position is placed in Grade 8 of the Cumberland Salary Structure with a salary range of $1,187.69 to $1,365.84 per week, plus superannuation.
The commencement salary will depend upon the successful applicant's qualifications, experience and competencies.
Conditions of Employment: These are term contract, full-time positions working a 70 hour fortnight, rostered between 6:00am to 6:00pm, Monday to Friday.
One position will be located at Guildford West Children's Centre, working Monday to Friday with access to Council's 9 day fortnight Rostered Day Off (RDO) arrangement.
One position will be located at Pemulway Children's Centre, working a 4 day week.
The successful applicants may be required to work across any one of Council's 17 education and care centres across the Cumberland LGA. Attendance at training, education events and staff meetings outside of normal work hours will also be required.
