ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITIES
New team for a new phase in the Shire’s development. Seeking an experienced and contemporary Director with proven strategic skills to become our new Director Infrastructure and a Manager Works to help carry out the Directorate strategic and operational plans. These roles will suit experienced persons with positive and inclusive leadership styles and strong relationship skills.
The Shire of Halls Creek is located in the Kimberley and has a Council that is proactively facing the challenges and opportunities that come with being remote. Halls Creek is the gateway to a range of world-renowned natural attractions, including the World Heritage-listed Bungle Bungle ranges of Purnululu National Park and Wolfe Creek Meteorite Crater (the second largest on earth with a diameter of 850 metres) and is an indigenous cultural epicenter with 6 great art centres within the district.
EACH ROLE:
The successful applicants will be expected to set a high benchmark for excellence and performance supported by their exceptional communication skills and a desire to exceed expectations. You liaise with internal and external customers in a professional and courteous manner and proactively contribute to the organisational culture in a positive way.

The Shire's seat of government is the town of Halls Creek. Many Aboriginal communities are located within the shire.
The Purnululu National Park, home to part of the Bungle Bungle Range, and Gregory Lake are within the Shire, as is the Wolfe Creek Meteorite Crater National Park.
