Council is seeking to appoint a permanent full time Team Leader Water Network to contribute to Council’s success.

About the Role

This position is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the delivery of water network operational activities including construction and restoration maintenance for planned and unplanned conditions within the Gladstone region.

Essential Requirements

  1. Proven leadership success and supervisory experience overseeing a multi-discipline team and supporting a high-performance culture and cohesive team environment.
  2. Knowledge of and experience applying the Work Health and Safety Act and Regulation 2011, Water Supply (Safety and Reliability) Act 2008 and Regulation 2011 in the workplace.
  3. Certificate III in Plumbing with post trade qualifications in backflow prevention and/or demonstrated experience overseeing and managing water network projects, program of works and administering work management plans.
  4. Experienced in carrying out workplace investigations and writing reports inclusive of making recommendations for identified outcomes.
  5. Experience using Microsoft Office Suite and operating corporate business systems.
  6. Legally able to drive a motor vehicle in Queensland.
