The Quality Teaching Practice Unit is recruiting for a Manager, Curriculum General Capabilities (PEO) to join a dynamic and multidisciplinary team that uses evidence-informed practices to strengthen teaching quality.

The role manages the program design, delivery and evaluation of innovative and highly effective curriculum, teaching and assessment practices, with a specific focus on implementing critical and creative thinking, collaboration and communication strategies across subjects and stages.

This role manages the project planning, implementation, administration, communication and evaluation of professional learning initiatives, as well as, supporting the leadership of a team of school-based teachers, non-school based teachers and project officers.

The project focuses on strengthening teaching quality and developing learning networks to build the evidence base of quality teaching in NSW. It will involve liaison and collaboration with schools, Departmental personnel and other stakeholders including NESA, ACARA and professional associations.
