• Part Time Casual Teachers – Fashion
• Teaching Opportunities at Lidcombe
• $83 per hour

TAFE NSW is looking for creative and motivated individuals with current industry knowledge and experience in Fashion Design, Fashion Technology and Fashion Business to join our team of teachers on a casual basis. Located at Lidcombe campus which is busily paving the way for Fashion students in Western Sydney.

Our Fashion teaching sections welcome candidates who have expertise in one or more of the following:

• Design process
• Illustration - manual and CAD
• Specifications and sewing sample production
• Patternmaking – manual and Digital
• Supply chain & Production
• Marketing and social media
• Retail buying
• Merchandising

You will be responsible for constructing, guiding and enhancing the educational process, delivering educational programs, collaborating with a team of trainers and facilitating learning to enable students to achieve their desired outcomes.

The role of the Teacher involves a broad range of activities which include:

• Providing appropriate variety and flexibility in educational practice
• Contributing to decision making that affects the learning environment
• Participating cooperatively in the development and implementation of agreed quality improvement processes by reflecting on experience and evaluation of processes and program outcomes.

We would love to hear from you if you have…

• Qualifications in Fashion; Design, Technology or Business, at minimum Certificate II up to Advanced Diploma
• Minimum of two years post-qualification experience in the Fashion industries.
• Certificate IV TAE40116 or equivalent.
• Thorough knowledge and technical expertise relevant to one of the industry areas listed above.
