The Town of Cottesloe is seeking a highly skilled and qualified Finance Manager to oversee all accounting activities in accordance with the principles of sound financial management and good governance.
As the successful candidate, you will hold a Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Commerce with a minimum of five years post graduate experience. You will have senior level financial management expertise and experience, providing sound quality advice to the Executive Leadership Team on Council’s overall financial performance. You will lead and develop a small team of finance and administrative staff, coordinate all financial and accounting operations to meet statutory requirements, and prepare annual financial statements and budgets. In addition, the successful candidate will assist and work in conjunction with auditors, and maintain detailed records to ensure compliance.
This full time, permanent position will commence in May 2021 with an attractive remuneration package of $110,000 to $120,000 per annum, including a base salary of $100,000 to $110,000 and the private use of a motor vehicle.

The Town of Cottesloe is a local government area and a suburb of Perth, the capital of Western Australia. Cottesloe is located 11 kilometres (7 mi) west of Perth's central business district, covers an area of 3.9 square kilometres (1.5 sq mi), maintains 45.7 km of roads and had a population of approximately 7,500 as at the 2016 Census. Cottesloe is served by Swanbourne, Victoria Street, Grant Street and Cottesloe train stations, all operated through the Fremantle Railway Line.
